Heimkehr: the poetry of return
A decade after his exhibition During the Night (2016) at the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Edmund de Waal presented an illustrated talk on restitution and exile, reflecting on his project library of exile and Lettres à Camondo, shown at the Musée Nissim de Camondo (2021), and his family’s restored Austrian citizenship.
