Permanent installation
library of exile
The installtion library of exile has been permanently installed at the Warburg Institute, London, following it's displays at the Ateneo Veneto, Venice and the Japanisches Palais, Dresden, both in 2019 and at The British Museum, London, in 2020.
As the Bill Sherman, director of the Warburg institute, said "We are honoured and moved by Edmund’s gift. It will put his library of exile into one of the world’s great exiled libraries; and it will become a visible part of the Warburg Renaissance, a building project that will create new possibilities for artistic partnership and public engagement."
